Lose Yourself Video
I think this just might be our best video yet...The whole thing was shot at Glow Studios with Srdjan and we had an amazing team on board.
Lysha, Kerrie and Yoshi and Lauren did hair and make-up and Lauren also directed all the dancing. They did a great job, the boys had their hair made into horns and the girls had super teased hair. Lysha also helped out by holding these antlers to the back of my head in one scene because it was too hard to attach them too my hair..so she was hiding in the back of the scene haha!
Gabi, Michelle, Elise and Jess were my little blonde dance troup and this time we also had some guys involved; Ben, James, Sam and Aksoy. Last but not least there was the male lead Riki who is an amazing dancer and was really easy to work with.
We filmed ALL of the scenes in one day so it ended up being a 10 or 11 hour shoot! Lucky we stocked up on lollies and snacks!
The theme of the shoot was animals because the song is called 'Lose Yourself' and we tried to mix fashion with popular culture...so we ended up as kittens in tights and bodysuits! Haha!
It was really fun dressing up for this shoot. I often randomly wear animal ears around the house (it started because I didn't have any other headbands to push my hair back while I was studying at Uni but then became a habit...) so it was cool to be able to wear ears on a shoot hahah!
The most amazing jewelery was lent to us by Zoe Mou (www.ZM925.com and www.zoemou.com) and I loved it so much I ended up buying heaps of it after the shoot!
Anyway the day was pretty fun overall. We did backbends in heels, had shoes flying off during takes, ate jam donuts, added new moves into the routine like the washing machine and laughed lots.
You can see the finished clip here and on My Pop Diary soon.

Pop Diary Episode 2
I hope you're all still tuning in to My Pop Diary every week! Here is my part of episode 2. You can see more at www.mypopdiary.com or on ch31/44(digital) every monday 8pm.
Villain Music Video
We shot the first couple of scenes for the Villain music video on Monday. The venue was called 29th Apartment in St Kilda and was a really cool location for us to use.
Side Show Design created all the 40s inspired outfits in the clip and hair and make-up was done by Lysha who actually played the role of the waitress in the clip as well.
This clip will be reminiscent of film noir and old cult films which I love!
Since this clip has a storyline there's a lot more acting in it which is really different for me. I really don't think I was made to be an actress as I can't stop laughing at the most inappropriate times! An example is when I had to dramatically throw a drink at someone and the poor actor had to keep a straight face while I was giggling throughout the whole scene. Oops!
Here are a few photos from the day! And don't forget to tune in to My Pop Diary as you'll be seeing the clip there in one of the later episodes.

Press!
There were a few articles published about me in the local papers! I never actually got hold of the printed articles...but I found them online and so I'll post the photos from the articles taken by local photographer Josie Hayden.

The articles were just about 'My Pop Diary' starting on TV and how I feel about it etc. I said it was weird because usually I don't talk a whole lot about singing (except for here haha) and I wondered what people would think about the show. I also talked about how pop music isn't massive in Australia so we're trying to bring it back!

My Pop Diary Episode 1!
So 'My Pop Diary' finally aired on Monday night at 8pm on c31/44(digital). I actually missed it because I was at work haha but I watched it on tape when I got home. The first time I saw myself on the ad for the show it was weird but kinda cool.
Anyone else who missed it can also watch it online at www.mypopdiary.com OR I'll post the video right here. :) Enjoy!

Rockstar Cover and EPK!
Here is the Rockstar Album cover for Big Love music!
We were lucky to work with an amazing photographer Paolo Capelli who has done the cover of Italian Maxim so that was exciting! Hair and make-up was done by Anthony Hungerford and I had little black Swarovski crystals stuck on my eyes which was cool.
I actually tried to keep the crystals on all day so I could have them there for the Leftbank gig that night. I ended up wearing them to a wine tasting for the food and wine festival and looked extremely overdressed...haha!
I had to pull lots of angry faces for the shoot because it's like a mug shot haha so that was different. It's funny because we were posing like badass rockstars on the cover but the actual song the album is named after is really quite sweet.
After the shoot me and Anthony had a meeting and I did the final post production stuff and cover design in Photoshop.
So here is the final result!
Also here is our EPK! Haha it was pretty silly and fun to make. We went to a huge creepy warehouse of mannequins to pick up Anthony's dates and I got to chill out at Hoochie Mama's hair studio. Check it out.

Hedge Maze!
Here are some photos for another scene of the 'Your Kiss' music video. We went to Hedgend Maze and filmed me singing and running around haha. When we were done filming we actually got lost for ages and couldn't find our way out of the maze! I also hid and jumped out from behind a hedge when Kenny was filming and gave him a fright haha. But in the end hopefully we got some cool shots!
If you want to get lost in the same maze go and visit www.hedgend.com.au
